Alice Waters Instagram – Last month, Alice Waters brought her vision and warmth to our winter gardens at Château des Joncherets.
A pioneer of the farm-to-table movement, Alice has spent decades championing organic food and edible education for youth.
Alice’s visit marked Château des Joncherets’ first step towards reviving the vegetable garden that fed the château dwellers for 300 years. We plan to partner with École Comestible to create her Edible Schoolyard on our grounds, and invite neighborhood youth to harvest and cook with us.
