Emelie Forsberg Instagram – Soil on my hands, planting seeds, clearing weeds,
Covering earth with grass, with leaves, with algae—
Anything I can find, to give the soil what it needs.
A patch of life, fed by scraps and care,
Compost dreams and morning air.

I don’t know where the burning urge comes from,
To bend and dig beneath the sun,
To sweat for crops that barely feed—
But maybe it’s not hunger I’m trying to appease,
Maybe it’s the need to feel the land,
To root myself in something I understand.

When I’m tired, when my body feels strained,
I don’t reach for rest, I run through rain.
Chores on the farm, in mud and storm,
Somehow they spark a fire, keep me warm.
Hands in motion, mind at ease,
Peace found in labor, in pulling weeds.
