When your firstborn has a baby that looks exactly like she looked, you get to relive all the delicious feelings of first-time motherhood, but without the sleep deprivation, hormones, and confusion. I didn’t think I was ready yet to cross over to the granny side of the street, but Lord in Heaven…I am loving it and I’m so grateful for this gift.

(Psst. Wait for the dunk at the end!) Okay, I was once a doubter; now I’m a believer. I’m here to proclaim the merits of making grilled cheese sandwiches in an air fryer. Here’s why ya gotta do it: The bread gets golden-crisp and the cheese melts at a perfectly even pace. I use NON-homemade sourdough (haha), dijon, salt, pepper, provolone, grated white cheddar, sliced smoked gouda. Then (trust me pretty please 😍) spread both salted butter and mayo on the outside of the bread. Air fry for 5-7 minutes at 375, then flip it and go about the same time, or until the bread and cheese are perfect. Yes, I still make grilled cheeses in the skillet. 😊 But every time I make one in the air fryer I’m reminded of the magic.✨

Ever pull a pan o’ mac and cheese out of the oven and discover that it’s all dried out, desperate, and disappointing? I tackle that dilemma in my new cookbook (it’ll be here October 28!) with luscious, saucy, and utterly crazyyyyyy results. (Wait for that end shot…) And the calories don’t count if you eat it while standing up! Okay bye.
My very first pickleball game, as you can tell by my complete inability to understand the scoring. Sofia hung in there till the end as you will see! Also, this edit is misleading. Mauricio creamed us in the first game, then we were able to eke out small victory in a 3-point game at the end. Also, I chose to include all my decent shots and all the times Alex and Mauricio told me I was good. (I wonder what Mauricio’s edit would look like? 😂) Who wants to come play with me? It’s not Ladd’s cup of tea.
