Here‘s @chrissfulton and myself in rainy and very lovely Tallinn for @tallinnblacknightsff 2023 where we celebrated our European premiere for my directorial debut #fallingintoplace and went home with the @fipresci prize and a lot of love in our hearts. It’s been a magical experience for me to travel with this film for the past two years and to speak to audiences all over Europe and Australia. Making this film has been one of my most personal and at the same time most universal creations. There‘s the illusion that we make all these decisions, that we consciously decide to take all these steps to bring something into being. I prefer to think of it more of something that creates through us. Not just in art but in life. All we can do is take a breath and see what unfolds. I was lucky enough to be involved as an actress in a project (with absolutely adorable people) over the last few months and find myself now prepping for the next – which is quite rare in a time where most actors struggle to find any kind of work. I don’t take it for granted and all I can do is be grateful. And just to stay with the gratefulness for a moment. The next script has made its way through my heart onto the page. I know there‘s no way to know if it’s meant to find the money and to be turned into a film that I can share with you guys. I’d be very much up for it. So if you‘d like to press your thumbs or cross your fingers for this next tale about love and being human… feel free 🤍🙏🏻🫂✨
