It’s been six months since I lost my brother. If you’ve ever wondered what has the power to change the very core of a person, it’s a loss like this ! Grief slowly shifts the way you see everything. The way you look at life, the way you feel things, the way you connect with people…It changes your entire wiring and transforms you into a person you don’t always recognise. Some days, I miss him so much it physically hurts. Other days, I look around and wonder if there ever was a world where he existed. That version of life feels so far away – like that world belonged to another lifetime and I no longer know how to find my way back to it. I miss him and love him more than words can ever explain. And I miss the part of me that went silent the day he left. Life is still moving, and I’m learning to move with the weight of it all. One step, one memory, one moment at a time ! @anand.mehra13

It’s strange how nostalgia works. Some places take you back in time, making you feel like nothing has changed, while everything actually has. You stand there, the same but different, carrying memories that feel both close and distant. But maybe that’s what life is- a constant tug between holding on and letting go ! . . . 📸 @lisiberer

Have you ever asked for a sign from a loved one you’ve lost and then suddenly noticed it ? Something that feels too perfect to be a coincidence? For me it’s not just the hearts, there have been so many little things… moments that are hard to explain. It’s the timing of it. The feeling of it. Sometimes it’s a song, a feeling or a dream – always showing up when I need them the most. I don’t question it anymore. If it brings comfort, that’s enough. If it makes you smile for a moment, that’s your sign. It’s them, finding a way to say – I’m still here ! ❤️ Miss you so much ! @anandinourhearts . . . . . #griefandloss #signs #signsfromtheuniverse #spiritualgrowthjourney #healing #storiesofconnection #acrosstheveil #spiritguide
Belgium through my camera roll 🍟🍫 1. Every corner in Ghent looks like a postcard but this one’s my favorite 2. Because good views are better when shared 3. Quick stop at the Manneken Pis, Brussels 4. Cheers from BeerWall in Brugge – amazing beer selection and a lovely canal view 5. Pretty corners and even prettier faces in Brugge 6. Tourist mode on at Brussels’ Grand Place, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. 7. Savouring the sweetest part of Belgium – the waffles! 8. Can we talk about this pink sky? Bruges is unreal ! 9. Bruges’ most photogenic spot – Bonifaciusbrug 10. Nothing like a boat ride to see Ghent in all its pretty glory 11. Sitting and chilling after devouring a dozen chocolates at Rue du Marché aux Fromages, Brussels

Company is nice, sure. But this quiet space? It’s gold. I wouldn’t trade this peace for anything ! 😊
One thing about me – I love good food and I rarely skip a meal, even when I’m traveling! This was just a regular, slightly rainy day in Salzburg and I ended up spending around 70 euros on meals alone. If you’re planning a solo trip to Europe, keep in mind that daily expenses – especially if food is a big part of your travel experience, can easily go up to 70 to 100 euros per day. Not saying it has to, but just something to budget for. Theres quick street food also that’s pretty good and much cheaper. So your daily budget really depends on your style of travel and what you enjoy eating !
Finally posting about my time in Salzburg ! I know it’s been a few months since my trip, but better late than never, right? Salzburg is honestly one of the prettiest towns I’ve visited in Europe. It’s small enough to walk around in a few hours and honestly feels like something out of a story book. I went solo, took the train from Vienna, stayed at a lovely hotel right near the station and just spent my days walking around, eating and soaking it all in. This video is a small glimpse of that time. Hope you enjoy watching it! More coming up soon ❤️
“How are you?” When someone asks, you don’t really know what to say. It almost feels like a wrong question because how do you think I would be? Time passes and people expect you to be okay. They don’t want to hear the sadness anymore. But the truth is, you’re still stuck in that moment, stuck in that loss and nothing feels “fine.” The tough part about grief is that it’s yours and yours alone to carry. People might offer comfort, but in the end, it’s something you have to face by yourself. For others, it’s just another sad story that they move on from, but for you, it’s the whole world turned upside down ! . . . If you’ve ever lost a loved one, how did you feel when someone asked, ‘How are you?
If you only visit one café in Salzburg, make it this one ! Great food, perfect coffee & so aesthetic .. @220grad . . . . . . #salzburg #coffeeshop #bestcafe
If you’re visiting Salzburg and have a day to spare, Berchtesgaden National Park in Germany is the perfect day trip. 1. This beautiful day trip from Salzburg takes you across the border to Berchtesgaden National Park in Germany – just 1 hour away by direct bus from Salzburg Hauptbahnhof station 2. Once there, you can take a boat ride on the stunning Königssee lake. A return ticket to the final stop, Salet, costs €28. 3. From Salet, it’s a short scenic walk to Obersee, a hidden lake with postcard perfect views. 4. On the way back, the boat stops at the iconic Bartholomä Church – don’t miss it! 5. There are plenty of hiking trails in the area if you’re up for some adventure. 6. Start early in the morning, as the last return boat from Bartholoma church is usually around 4 PM.
Stayed at Hotel @cocoon_salzburg during my visit to Salzburg and it was such a great choice! Just a short 2 minute walk from the main train station and so close to all the main sights. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, the breakfast is lovely and the whole vibe is super chill. Salzburg is honestly one of the prettiest towns I’ve been to and having a great stay made it even more special !
If you’re visiting Amsterdam and want a break from the city, plan a day trip to Giethoorn. It’s located about 2 hours from Amsterdam and is known for its canals, tiny wooden bridges, and cute cottages with thatched roofs. You either walk or take a boat – cars are not allowed inside the village! 🛤️ How to get there from Amsterdam: • Take a train from Amsterdam Central Station to Steenwijk. (You might need to change once, usually at Zwolle.) • The whole train ride takes about 2 hours. • From Steenwijk station, take bus 70 which drops you right near the village. Super easy! Once you arrive, you can rent a boat or hop on a guided canal tour. We rented our own boat and just floated around the village. There are plenty of cute cafés, ice cream shops, and little souvenir stores inside the village so you can easily spend a few hours relaxing and exploring. It’s honestly one of the prettiest places I’ve seen in the Netherlands. 💛 Giethoorn is definitely worth the trip. . . . #giethoorn #netherlands #prettyplaces #amsterdam #daytrip
Bruges really does feel like a fairytale. Every street, every canal is just so pretty. I didn’t have a plan, I just walked around, took it all in and honestly couldn’t stop filming. It’s peaceful, slow and kind of magical in its own way. This is Bruges, Belgium and yes, it’s just as dreamy as everyone says! . . . . #bruges #belgium #prettiesttown #europetravels
Zaanse Schans is just 30 minutes from Amsterdam! Famous for its traditional Dutch windmills, wooden houses and canals – it’s the perfect half day trip if you want a quick escape from the city. You can get there easily by train from Amsterdam Centraal to Zaandijk Zaanse Schans station and then it’s just a 10-minute walk. Free to visit and super scenic, don’t miss it! 🇳🇱 . . . . #amsterdam #zaanseschans #daytrip #explorenetherlands
