Grief slowly shifts the way you see everything. The way you look at life, the way you feel things, the way you connect with people…It changes your entire wiring and transforms you into a person you don’t always recognise.
Some days, I miss him so much it physically hurts. Other days, I look around and wonder if there ever was a world where he existed. That version of life feels so far away – like that world belonged to another lifetime and I no longer know how to find my way back to it.
I miss him and love him more than words can ever explain.
And I miss the part of me that went silent the day he left.
Life is still moving, and I’m learning to move with the weight of it all.
