🐵 Gibbons are extraordinary primates distinct from the “great apes” like orangutans, gorillas, and chimpanzees. Smaller and tailless, they are true acrobats of the forest — brachiating through the treetops at speeds up to 35 mph, covering vast distances in a single leap.
💞 They’re also known for their lifelong bonds and enchanting duets, sung in harmony to strengthen their relationships and mark their forest homes.
🌳 Native to Southeast Asia, gibbons play a vital role in maintaining healthy forests — dispersing seeds, shaping the canopy, and keeping ecosystems in balance.
