Both @juliagillard and @the_shb_ loved Wild Dark Shore, the new novel by Australian author @charlottemcconaghy.
It follows the Salt family as they pack up the world’s largest seed bank on a tiny, remote island near Antarctica that’s being swallowed up by rising sea levels.
The book explores a range of themes including parenthood – the different reasons people do or don’t want to have children, and the lengths they would go to to protect them.
