I will be initially explaining in Japanese, but I will follow with English for the non-English speakers! The bread we will be painting in this workshop is from @miyabicafe_2017 . The owner learned about making this Danish Shokupan in Kyoto, then brought the technique to Tokyo. It’s also the first painting I made of blue food. This is a classic Japanese popsicle called “Gari-Gari Kun” in soda flavor, but to most foreigners, the flavor is more similar to bubble gum than soda. This is just one of 20 pieces I will exhibiting at my exhibition in Osaka at the Tsutaya Book Store Hirataka T-Site from 10/25 to 11/9.
