I am Dr. Singh 👩🏽⚕️👩🏽🎓 Words can’t even begin to describe what an immense honour it is to receive a doctorate from my very own @yorkuniversity. I’m truly having a hard time processing it. When I started my career in entertainment, I was terrified. Terrified of whether I’d make something of myself… and even more terrified of whether I’d make my parents proud. We’ve all heard the stereotype about Brown parents wanting their kids to be a doctor, lawyer, or engineer, and let’s be honest, it’s usually true. But that’s because, to them, those paths represented stability. And at the end of the day, all parents really want is for their kids to be safe and able to make a living. I went against the grain in every possible way. But the universe has a wild sense of humour… because somehow, this path led me to bring home a PhD after all. I’m so grateful I could give them this moment after everything they’ve given me. God is great 🙏🏽 When you see me on the streets, please refer to me as Dr. Daddy Singh.
Happy holidays, from my family to yours. #ad Cheers to @johnniewalkerus for always allowing me to spoil my dad with a bottle of Blue Label. Sip Responsibly. Don’t share with anyone under 21.
A Royal Time was had 👑✨ Insight into what it takes to throw Love & Light each year👇🏽 I spend about a year planning my Diwali party, which means yes, I’ll be starting 2026 very soon. It’s not just because I’m Type A and mildly unhinged, it’s also because I truly love throwing events. It’s my little light throughout the year. I base every decision on ✨vibes✨. I think about what a guest might need to have a good time. I’ve been to too many parties where I leave hungry or my feet hurt. Not under my roof 👏🏽 This year, my event planner was @panacheaffair_shveta and her team at @apanacheaffair. Shveta, I need to give you all the roses. Throwing an event with me is no easy feat, but you crushed it. Thank you for being so organized and allowing me to be crazy with the details (custom Diwali happy meal boxes?!). Even my family was raving… and they’re tough to impress. For the 5th year in a row, Saman and her team at @2createdesigns made the party feel like another world. With exotic florals, vintage rentals, and a gorgeous fountain surrounded by Kathak dancers (choreo by @chasinglife), it felt like a real palace. My fave look yet! Music is everything. For the 5th year, @3dsounds @amit_3ds @djnitro absolutely delivered. My guests text me every year about how fire the music is. Everyone LIVES on the dance floor. This ain’t a networking event… it’s a Punjabi party. Special shoutout to @m2ray who did a guest set. Her mashups of dancehall, hip hop, Hindi… obsessed. I didn’t sit down once. Most common thing in people’s hands while dancing? Biryani. @mantraindiancuisine nailed it again. The live stations, the passed apps (chaat cones?!), 10/10. Plus, @chaiwaleandco’s chai with fresh jalebis by @garmagaramjalebi. HEAVEN! Comfy feet = nonstop dancing. I always set up a free slide booth, and @cushionaireshoes came through. Dropping it low in a lengha is easier in slippers! @desibeatcollective crushed the 360 booth. Because let’s be real, everything is better in slow motion. And huge love to @julioparedesfilms for capturing every single core memory in cinematic brilliance. Thank you all for helping make this party my Royal dream ✨💜
Happy Diwali 🪔 May your day be filled with love, light and beautiful community. On community… 👇🏽 I’m still buzzing over Love & Light: A Royal Affair, my 5th annual Diwali party in LA. Every year, I have one goal: foster community. I’ve gotten older and seen the world encourage us to isolate and divide, I’ve really put an emphasize on building safe spaces for people to come together and feel a part of something. I truly believe community is the medicine we all need. So yes, the party is so over the top and I spend an entire year planning it (we already know I’m extra! 💁🏽♀️) but it’s because I’m so passionate about celebrating togetherness. And I feel like I’ve always put so much effort into my career and projects, so I’ve really tried to match that energy into my friendships, family and circle. Seeing people, making memories and building safe spaces takes work, coordination and effort, but it is so beyond worth it. Don’t convince yourself otherwise. I also love introducing people to Diwali, who may not be as familiar. And every year, I get told things like “this was my first Diwali and I cannot wait for next year!” Or “I’ve never felt so safe and joyous at an event before.” These things mean the world to me… because when I first moved to LA, not many people I met knew much about South Asian culture. And now, Diwali is officially a recognized holiday in California 💪🏽🙏🏽 And I simply could not throw this beast of a party without the help of a very amazing team. I cannot co-sign them enough: Event planner: @apanacheaffair @panacheaffair_shveta Decor: @2createdesigns A/V: @3dsounds Catering: @sumitsharma_mantra Photos: @reelinitiative Sending you all so much love, light, health and prosperity this holiday season ❤️

Paro said, “I’m not waiting by the gate this time… I have a party to throw.” 👑 This year for Love & Light: A Royal Affair, I was so behind on planning because of my crazy schedule. But it turned out to be a valuable lesson from the universe about letting go of control… because in the week before the party, I somehow pulled together what I truly believe is one of my greatest looks. And I couldn’t have done it without my darling @falgunipeacock , who jumped on a call, worked her magic in 48 hours, shipped it from India, and not only had it fit perfectly, but matched the colour palette of the event flawlessly. Thank you for letting me live out my Sanjay Leela Bhansali dreams. That’s the incredible @2createdesigns 😍🔥 and don’t even get me started on my event planner @apanacheaffair … more on this later. Brace the timeline x
