Having my Grammy Legend Award makes me so happy—and it looks damn shiny on the shelf. When it was given, I was told it was a #Grammy for my lifetime of recorded music.
Today, I was told that my friends #BarbraStreisand, and the late greats #JamesEarlJones, #HarryBelafonte, #QuincyJones and me, are in the “Honorary Class.” Well, I’ll take it! Great company!
In the meantime, I don’t love competing with my fellow artists—however, at my age? Honey, if we win next year for the Cast Album of Drag: The Musical, I’ll feel warm, fuzzy, and wonderful between my… ears!
The record drops on April 25, which is a happy birthday present to my sweet partner @jasonwintersgriot.
