5 years ago today I set up my house to stay at home and quarantine with my 2 kids for what I thought would be a few weeks. Little did we know. “Young and the Restless” was the second production in Hollywood to go back to work. We had stringent protocols. Looking back, I can’t even believe we all got through it. Our hair and makeup team in hazmat suits, same with our camera people. Before we make this a political discussion (which I have no intention of doing)… I just wanted to post this video that was taken in October 2020. Yes, we are masked as we worked together and again because of the incredibly strict rules that we had to follow at our place of work, we continued to wear the masks around each other and at home. Whether you agree with it or not. That’s what we had to do. I sorta feel like the world is a bit harsher now. We never (at least I didn’t) went back to what it was…Anyway, How lucky I was to have Christian part of my “pod”. @christianjleblanc is family. Find your family. It really does help to have someone to laugh with and dance with during that time you are experiencing a sh*tshow of a life…I’m rockin the sequin face mask, aren’t I? #YR
