Rutvi Bhatt Instagram – The older I grow, the more I realize I’m becoming my parents???
The same parents I would get mad at or irritated at when I was younger: now I think like them and it all makes sense 🤷♀️
It’s in the small things:
👉🏾 When we go out and someone suggests eating out — I think oh there’s food already cooked at home why waste that
👉🏾 When restaurants play really loud music — I remember my dad who till date can’t stand restaurants like that and would sit quietly rather than yelling and talking
👉🏾 Before buying random things I used to once beg my parents for: now I automatically think money saved is money earned just the way my mom says it
🙃 I was shocked at myself when I took that money covered and saved it for later?¿ I mean what?
✨ But then I reflected someone and realized all the things I am doing that makes me feel like I’m becoming my parents— are beautiful things 👏🏽
✨ Things I should be incredibly proud of and guess what I am really proud!
🫶 they taught me how to save, protect and value things and I love that — it just took me a minute to realize that!
Just the way mumma says, “when you grow up you’ll understand”
