A little over a year ago, @shaliniusha won the International Critics Award at the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival for Ennennum — a film she made against all odds that asked big questions about the nature of life and love. A film that I will always look back upon with pride. A film that found its people as we travelled with it around the world. Since it’s Shalu’s birthday today, here’s a little video from the @nifffestival award ceremony. I was clearly overcome with emotion and therefore a bit embarrassed to share this earlier, but you know what? I’m going to own the cringe 🙂 Thank you for being you, Shalu — an inspiration and a friend like no other. May this year see you soar higher ✨
