The expression on my face in Pic #1 pretty much sums up how I feel about the past 16 days spent with the best of the best in the Philippines. A trip of a lifetime, really. Manila —> El Nido —> Coron —> Siargao —> Boracay We boat tripped, we kayaked, we hiked (not exactly voluntarily but we did it!), we ate, we drank, we SWEAT (never been so hot in all my life 🥵), we swam, we snorkeled, we danced, we laughed like crazy, we won 2nd Place in a random & completely awesome trivia competition we stumbled upon (lezzz go, Capybaras!), we fed & canoodled countless street pups, we saw old friends & made new ones, and we ate our body weight in lechon, pancit, and garlic rice. And most importantly, we celebrated the incredibly special nuptials of our dear friends, @dradrianr & @notlehs64! Apart from 2.5 medical emergencies and a whole lotta upper lip sweat, it was pretty much perfect. 🌅👙🍍🐟🏝️🐚⛵️💍💓
Wishing a very happy Mother’s Day to all you mamas out there! But especially to my two favorite mamas— my mother, my literal Day 1, and my sister, who I used to call my “Second Mommy” when I was little. Thanks for your love and guidance and for putting up with ME all these years. I know that can’t have been easy! Love you both dearly. Yesterday’s #NoKings rally was nothing short of electric…and historic! Millions of voices, one message, and not a single throne in sight. Standing shoulder to shoulder with so many passionate, joyful, PATRIOTIC Americans— all exercising our First Amendment right to peacefully protest— reminded me of what makes America great. This was democracy in action, with signs, chants, and good ol’ fashioned dissent. Yesterday wasn’t about left or right—it was about standing up, speaking out, and proving that in America, We the People still have the final say. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙✊🏽
