Neha Vora Jhaveri Instagram - Ever since I read about this year’s Mahakumbh, I felt a pull. This wasn’t just any Kumbh; it was the Maha Kumbh, a celestial event that happens once every 144 years. The last one took place in 1881, and the next won’t be until 2169—a moment in history that few will ever witness in a lifetime. The more I read, the deeper I was drawn into its significance—the alignment of planets, the sacred rivers, Amrit Manthan, the cosmic churning of the ocean. I knew I had to be there ✨

But getting there? That was another story.

We tried booking flights multiple times, each attempt met with disappointment. It seemed impossible. But destiny had other plans. On Monday morning, we finally managed to secure seats from Mumbai to Varanasi. Within an hour, we packed, rushed to the airport, and took off.

We landed in Varanasi. The ghats, the flickering diyas, the chants—it felt like stepping into another dimension. And of course, no trip to Varanasi is complete without indulging in its legendary street food. Varanasi Chat Bhandar did not disappoint; every bite was an explosion of flavors, a perfect way to end our first night.

But our real journey began at 4 AM the next morning.

The plan was straightforward—reach Prayagraj, take the holy dip, and return in time for our flight. Easier said than done.

A 2.5-hour drive turned into an endurance test, as the sheer volume of pilgrims had choked every road leading into Prayagraj. With time slipping through our fingers, we made a quick decision—leave the car at Chunsi and take a bike ride to the Kumbh.

Finally, we reached what we thought was Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati. But when we checked the maps, reality struck—we were only at the banks of the Ganga.

Neha Vora Jhaveri Instagram - Visited the newly opened @gaijinmumbai and I absolutely loved it! 🥢

It’s been a while since I truly enjoyed new asian restaurants because honestly, most restaurants in the city seem to be doing the same thing. But Gaijin brings a refreshing twist to the table with unique flavors, exciting combinations, and every dish was spot on.

Swipe to see what you have to try when you go, these one’s a must! ✨💯

Neha Vora Jhaveri - 1.5K Likes - Ever since I read about this year’s Mahakumbh, I felt a pull.

Caption : Ever since I read about this year’s Mahakumbh, I felt a pull. I knew I had to be there ✨ But getting there? It’s thoughtful, unique, and makes the prettiest addition to any home.🪞🪴✨

I’m obsessed with all things from @purehomeandliving, their pieces are just so chic and giftable!
Not gonna lie… I end up keeping a few for myself too. 🙂‍↔️🥰

Neha Vora Jhaveri - 3 Likes - Visited the newly opened @gaijinmumbai and I absolutely loved it!
