Aditi Saigal Instagram – Last month I started ‘Banana Club’ for people to come together and learn different fiber arts. Our August session was all about the basics of crochet.
I’ve been crafting for a really long time, learning from YouTube videos and patterns on Ravelry. While I love the endless depths of tutorial internet, I wanted to create a space where people could learn from each other and enjoy each other’s company in person.
The next session will be in October at @harkat.studios again and I hope that those of you who would like to learn a new skill and take part in a crafting community will join!
Crochet and knitting have taught me that if there’s something complicated I want to make, I can learn to make it somehow. Simply put: banana hai toh banao
