Sunny is two weeks post-op an urgent surgery to remove his spleen after a mass was discovered on it during an ultrasound. It was definitely an anxious time waiting for the results of his biopsy, but the little dude is cancer free! To celebrate, I took him out climbing in Idaho with his friend Panda, and I got to get on the classic “Demon Daze” V10 with Mr. Idaho himself, @mikebockino. Then we mobbed back to Salt Lake to catch the finals of the Lambo Cup! One of the most organized and well run competitions ever, and yes — it was in a garage. It was the perfect day, and we’re grateful to be able to have many more days out with this little yellow dog. 💛

Imagine having a project on the other side of the world at your actual fingertips. On top of the @climbing.roots grand opening being an action-packed event filled with live music, line dancing, and chili dogs, I got to partake in one of the coolest “art” projects ever! Bringing an infamous Utah V10 to Tennessee. Before I left, I went out to the canyon to capture images of the holds on Copperhead (with my phone camera!) I then emailed them to @derek_samples where he 3D printed and textured each grip. Then we set the boulder! This was one of the coolest things I’ve been involved in, and it was awesome to sesh on the climb with the Knoxville community during the event. Thank you @climbing.roots so much for having me, I had a blast. 🫶 📸 @chelsea.mello

I woke up one morning to an email saying “Thanks for Registering for Boulderfest!” Didn’t remember doing that… Because I hadn’t. @melinacostanza 👀 Hard to pull out of a comp that someone else pays the entry fee for! I approached qualies as a long, exhausting training session, and clawed my way into finals in 3rd place. 🦞 Accidentally gave too much in that round apparently, and had nothing left for finals. Cannot remember the last time I felt that wiped! Luckily there was swag to throw out to make up for my lack of sending. Thanks @seattleboulderingproject for the good time! (I still haven’t recovered.) 📸 @kovzilla
