Alexandra Johnson Instagram – Imagine having a project on the other side of the world at your actual fingertips.
On top of the @climbing.roots grand opening being an action-packed event filled with live music, line dancing, and chili dogs, I got to partake in one of the coolest “art” projects ever! Bringing an infamous Utah V10 to Tennessee.
Before I left, I went out to the canyon to capture images of the holds on Copperhead (with my phone camera!)
I then emailed them to @derek_samples where he 3D printed and textured each grip.
Then we set the boulder! This was one of the coolest things I’ve been involved in, and it was awesome to sesh on the climb with the Knoxville community during the event.
