Christina Pascucci Instagram – What a night celebrating Al Smiths legacy @alsmithfoundation — the former NY Governor and first Catholic Presidential candidate was a man of the people, known for uplifting the marginalized.
Notably, the room was full of Democrats and Republicans, Jews, Christians, and Muslims, NY Jets and Patriots fans, and somehow they managed to all get along 😆 The speeches always address our differences through humor and ultimately sent a message of unity.
The night’s honoree, Robert Kraft @patriots, is leading the charge against the de-humanization of those who have opposing views. A sweet moment was when Kraft, a Jew, and Cardinal Dolan, Catholic, exchanged the caps worn in their respective religions (zucchetto and kippah).
You may notice in the video I’m at the gala with a huge cooler. My nursing/pumping bag was quite the accessory 😆
Shout out to @earth.to.kelly for the best night! 🤍
