Hoje eu leio um trecho do meu livro que eu falo sobre a história do TDPM.
Infelizmente as mulheres sempre sofreram com esse transtorno, mas antes de existir um diagnóstico elas eram consideradas loucas, histéricas e muitas vezes eram mantidas em instituições mentais.
O TDPM foi e ainda é muito confundido com depressão, esquizofrenia e transtorno bipolar.
Precisamos mudar isso!
Precisamos acabar com o estigma e falar mais sobre esse transtorno terrível que destrói a vida de 31 milhões de mulheres.

The history of PMDD.
Today I read a passage from my book where I talk about the history of PMDD.
Unfortunately, women have always suffered from this disorder, but before a diagnosis existed, they were considered crazy, hysterical, and often confined to mental institutions.
PMDD has been and still is often confused with depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.
We need to change this!
We need to end the stigma and to talk more about this terrible disorder that destroys the lives of 31 million women.
