I made it another year, ya’ll!! God is so good! This year I got to celebrate my birthday in one of my all time favorite cities in the world – NEW YORK. This is the city that raised me, molded me, inspired me, grew me. I’ve learned so much this year about myself – who I don’t want to be, how I want to spend my time & what’s actually worth my energy. I chose to focus on my health, my creative ideas and my community. Every year is a new opportunity to reconfigure yourself – it’s a rebirth. It’s my personal new year. & every year I grow closer to myself & God – my faith & my tribe. It’s an honor to grow up with these people.
I’ve let people go this year who don’t align with my personal values or integrity – those who don’t have my best interest at heart. Pruning is always necessary when you’re attempting to grow something sustainable. It’s natural and a part of the process. & life feels so much lighter when you’re operating in your truth.
This next year is going to be filled with joy, health, family, friends, adventures, opportunities, mental clarity, discipline & laughter. I claim it all!
