Ya’ll know I’m a braids/faux locs obsessed individual. I love trying out different styles. I’m not sure of the traditional name for this style? If you do, please lmk.
Either way, when I first did this look, I was a little apprehensive. But, my family loved it. That gave me the extra confidence needed to commit to this style. That’s the thing about fashion, beauty, hair / it’s to be experimental. Trying new (to you) things that boost your self-esteem & creativity. Looking at yourself one way your entire life, I feel, doesn’t really allow you to create and play or experience yourself fully. I’ll stop blabbing now, but yeah, go try something new. 😊
