I seriously didn’t know my eyeballs could do that 🤔. I’m of the belief that you can’t have too much ‘side eye’ in a photo. .😁 * A little post to : * produce photographic evidence that-yes…I have always been suspicious of birthdays …(2nd slide ) * And point all the love and celebration straight at my BEAUTIFUL mama❤️❤️❤️ who Deserves to be celebrated far more than me 😅and also to thank some of the kindest people I am LUCKY enough to have in my life 🥰 * My family and friends had no trouble ignoring me and my “non-birthday “rule. (I couldn’t wrap my head around having a ‘celebration’ of anything to do with myself ) But despite existing in this waking nightmare of a world losing its humanity …..you all reminded me how much we should treasure what we have .❤️❤️❤️ And against the current backdrop , how enormously grateful we should all be, everyday . They found time to shower me with love , hugs , surprise cocktails , extra cuddles for Auntie from the bubbas , nerding out at a bowling alley (where the question of whether I am a champion bowler was finally answered 😅) No. It appears I am not 🎳🤦🏼♀️. * Now WHERE I got this misinformation and WHY did I encourage the legend of my skills without bothering to test them out for 15 years ?……(sigh) …🤷🏼♀️I’m afraid we may never know . * Thankyou for bringing joy and ridiculous into my world , even for a day or two…didn’t realise how much I needed it ,or how much I would love all that love.🥰 * Thankyou for the hugs , the gifts, the fries 🍟 (instead of cake) , to my beautiful LA angels for the 2am FaceTimes 😂, for the texts , the posts , the HB comments on my page ,the 6 voicemails I found of friends eerily singing Happy Birthday 😆, and basically anyone who took the time to wish me a very merry un-birthday…. thankyou . Helped start a foundation that provides housing to woman and children in NSW , and soon other states . The foundation stops those in need of safety from falling in into the cracks in the housing crisis. * He REALLY hates attention. He just DOES . He ACTS. Then quietly goes about being a our papa , and an amazing Nonno . ( 🇮🇹Italian : Dad & Grandfather) * So in true annoying 1st daughter style: I’m shining a light and a little bit of attention on this amazing man . He asks for nothing , gives away SO much of what he has , and that still not being enough , he’s boots on the ground , out of the boardroom , GETTING IT DONE. “Children in Gaza are under attack -again . As airstrikes and violence escalate, it’s the CHILDREN who will suffer the most” . * It’s my Niece’s first Birthday. My mind finds it hard to compute. I can’t wrap my head around how these two realities can be happening at the same time . * That’s because what is happening right now SHOULD NOT sit comfortably with Anyone. It should feel strange . It should not feel normal .
