It’s my Niece’s first Birthday. My mind finds it hard to compute. I can’t wrap my head around how these two realities can be happening at the same time .

That’s because what is happening right now SHOULD NOT sit comfortably with Anyone. It should feel strange . It should not feel normal . That’s what it means to have your humanity.

And yes, like many , maybe you too are worn down by the cruelty of what is being done , and if you’re human, and have a beating heart….you you too are dismayed. we cry and wring our hands in uselessness.

But This simply isn’t the case. You ARE needed. You are needed to donate , to post , to share .

You’ve heard It all . The numbers . The statistics. You don’t need more details from me .

These children NEED food , water , shelter , safety.
