Perfect pace and curation of information, beautiful staging and light, doesn’t push anything too insistently, lets the work speak for itself and the observer see the way in which these incredible women – born into war one year apart in different countries – unspooled fierce, unyielding, ceaselessly original design careers that met and kissed occasionally. The whole thing is a love letter to the human body but also to fabric – these women use it like paint, with lavish drama underpinned by rigorous structure and thought.
No formal training, either of them. What creatures. What CREATURES. Absolutely loved it. Get thee hence, at speed.
