mismo pod featuring didi 😂 maybe a bit of a hot topic but today we talk about my fitness routine. for those who don’t know, i have the insane luck of being married to a person trainer! my postpartum fitness journey has been filled with ups and downs but @micktorres has been instrumental in achieving my goals— even my silly aesthetic ones 😅 we talk some numbers in this episode— i know that is not helpful for some but for me it is nice data to have and understand. honestly my main goal is to feel great in my own body and it’s helpful for my own brain to know the data of where i am when my body is feeling good vs when it isn’t. enjoy episode 98 (!!!) of @wearemismo, avail on YT and wherever you listen to podcasts!
Aesthetic goals are great but what really matters is how your body feels, which is why I like to have my clients set performance based goals. Climbing a mountain, running a marathon, doing a chin up… performance based goals lead to more sustainable fitness and a healthier mindset. Ashley reached her goal of doing body weight dips and is now trying to get a chin up by the end of the year!
