Constance felt blindsided by midlife and menopause. She envisioned a theater piece that could break the silence around this transition. Abby, who’s spent her career helming groundbreaking stories of women’s reclamation, joined her to launch @midlifemonologues and build a creative community around it. Julie had a parallel experience—feeling unprepared and angry that no one had warned her—which drove her to interview hundreds of women about their unspoken midlife truths.
When they discovered each other, the answer was obvious: join forces.
Because midlife isn’t something to fear—it’s a fucking privilege. And the only way to shift the narrative is to do it collectively.
