Since taking office, we’ve been laser-focused on lowering costs and expanding access for hard-working families. And we’re making real progress. Here’s how we’re making homeownership possible for more Michiganders ⬇️
We set a bold goal to build or fix 75,000 homes by fall of 2026. Earlier this year, a full year ahead of schedule, we knocked our goal out the park. So, we raised the bar to 115,000 homes by next fall.

Our workforce is the backbone of our economy.
We’ve delivered millions through the Housing and Community Development Fund to build and renovate housing for Michigan’s workforce—so they can build a life right here in Michigan.
To boost our supply of affordable housing, I signed an executive order to streamline funding—so we can get dollars out the door and build affordable homes fast 💵
We’ve lowered costs every month for first time buyers through the Rate Relief Mortgage Program. Saving Michiganders up to a whole percentage point on your mortgage and ensuring more homeowners can make it in Michigan.
