What an incredible experience to sing with @rteconcertorchestra, to be introduced by the loveliest man @martywhelanofficial and what an honour to be a part of such a beautiful night with @banatalquds The Daughters of Jerusalem who sing with such grace, talent, emotion, pride and stoicism. Christmas is a time of great joy but then often great sadness as we reflect and miss those not with us to share those joys. I must admit I found it hard singing this beautiful song as I thought of all the people suffering in Palestine but also of my own mother and father who I miss greatly. But then I remember how much they both loved this time of year and all the gorgeous times we had together. How proud they’d be and how much they loved this song ‘A Cradle In Bethlehem’ the first time I recorded it. So, full of love, I sang my heart out. I wish you all peace, love, warmth and finding huge joy in small and special moments.
