Morning all! Hope everyone celebrating Thanksgiving had a super day! Yesterday I ran my planned Half Marathon 13.1 miles! Over the past few years I’ve done a few 10K and 5K events but wanted to challenge myself again. Last time I had done a half marathon it was September of 2013! It put into perspective for me just how quickly time moves of course but also how much I’ve grown as an adult but also in my physical fitness. (Photo shown) My goal for yesterday’s half marathon was under 2 hours. I ended up doing between 2:12 and 2:16, the timing machines have it a bit wonky. Regardless that wasn’t the goal. I’d still love to achieve it but I don’t want to dismiss this run. I thought it was awesome that looking through my highlights documenting my training I trained in the UK, Australia, Japan, France, and of course home. I’ll be hobbling around for a few days because I definitely didn’t train appropriately for hills. But for the girl who in High School couldn’t run half way around a track one time….i want her to know she’s doing damn good. Now, going to get on a ✈️ and head to War Games! Gratitude for growth and the hunger to continue to push for more! Let’s go!

Day 7. Getting uncomfortable and getting STRONG. I took my first class at @aerialarts.studio at the beginning of last month and I’m hooked. I’ve been doing my stories but going to work on making reels too of progress and growth! My first class I remember my grip being so much weaker and was so impressed with how that grip felt today. Today we learned, mermaid, reverse angel and working on getting into I think it’s called lion’s mane? I’m learning. Kudos to the amazing instructor @becharwell for her skill, patience and overall badassery. Love to @danamarie223 and @candicebryant who have become close friends with their incredible hearts and kindness. Here’s to growing!
