I am so grateful for the opportunity to speak at SHEALS 3.0. A room of women old enough to be my mother, elder sister, and maybe a few people of my age.
We all come from trauma, most of which we’re not conscious of, everyone needs healing. Seeing our mothers in that room and hearing @mtishglobal talk about the therapy sessions she’s had with older women delighted my heart. They too need healing, they carry so much pain and endured so much for the sake of their children. Fathers have a lot of healing to do too, our brothers, and men generally. Only that this occasion was for women.
I pray we have multiple events soon that help men heal.
Some of the constant abuse and traumatic experiences we have are not natural, while we try to fix them physically, we must go spiritual too. Some of them are a result of things done by our forefathers on altars. We can be the generation that draws the line and break the curse. I pray for anyone fighting things they know nothing about, that God Himself will come to your rescue.🙏🙏
