No one can fix a thing like the manufacturer would. True healing comes from the creator! GOD!!! I am so grateful for the opportunity to speak at SHEALS 3.0. A room of women old enough to be my mother, elder sister, and maybe a few people of my age. We all come from trauma, most of which we’re not conscious of, everyone needs healing. Seeing our mothers in that room and hearing @mtishglobal talk about the therapy sessions she’s had with older women delighted my heart. They too need healing, they carry so much pain and endured so much for the sake of their children. Fathers have a lot of healing to do too, our brothers, and men generally. Only that this occasion was for women. I pray we have multiple events soon that help men heal. Some of the constant abuse and traumatic experiences we have are not natural, while we try to fix them physically, we must go spiritual too. Some of them are a result of things done by our forefathers on altars. We can be the generation that draws the line and break the curse. I talked about seeing many married people watching gay porn, and children being sexually abused. I struggled to make that video, I kept asking myself “who are you to talk to married people “. It took everything in me to post the video cause I sided want to disobey instructions. The enemy is always out to corrupt the things that God has made. Many people don’t know that pornography ruins intimacy. They’re being deceived to think it’s the other way round, and that it will help them have good sex but it’s all lies. If we speak against human trafficking, rape, abuse, etc then we should also speak against pornography. Many of the people who have now become porn stars were raped constantly by multiple men, until they were totally broken and it became their new reality. I can write an epistle on the topic of pornography, this is just to remind us again that watching pornography is wrong, God can give you the intimacy you desire with your partner if you ask Him. He knows your body, even more than you do, same with your wife or husband. The problem is that we don’t involve Him on this subject in marriage, meanwhile He made sex and He’s willing to help. We turn to things that would only ruin the intimacy we’re looking for. May God help us, may God deliver us from every form of addiction and help us know that true intimacy is only found in Him.
