Some weeks ago, I posted a video, talking about the dream I had. I talked about seeing many married people watching gay porn, and children being sexually abused.
I struggled to make that video, I kept asking myself “who are you to talk to married people “. It took everything in me to post the video cause I sided want to disobey instructions.
The enemy is always out to corrupt the things that God has made. Many people don’t know that pornography ruins intimacy. They’re being deceived to think it’s the other way round, and that it will help them have good sex but it’s all lies.
If we speak against human trafficking, rape, abuse, etc then we should also speak against pornography. Many of the people who have now become porn stars were raped constantly by multiple men, until they were totally broken and it became their new reality.
I can write an epistle on the topic of pornography, this is just to remind us again that watching pornography is wrong, God can give you the intimacy you desire with your partner if you ask Him. He knows your body, even more than you do, same with your wife or husband.
The problem is that we don’t involve Him on this subject in marriage, meanwhile He made sex and He’s willing to help. We turn to things that would only ruin the intimacy we’re looking for. May God help us, may God deliver us from every form of addiction and help us know that true intimacy is only found in Him.
Let this also be a reminder to us that sexual purity doesn’t end when we get married, it’s a life long journey. God bless and keep us all.🙏🙏
