Two things happened yesterday as we walked.
First, I absolutely love the boldness of everyone that came for the walk, especially the GenZs.
Their love for God, the boldness and excitement to share the gospel, and lead people to Christ, the way everyone took their time to talk to people not just sharing flyers, It was a beautiful sight to behold, it made my heart smile and I imagined God smiling down from heaven so pleased.
Another beautiful thing was listening to people share their salvation story so vulnerably. They shared the things they should be “hiding/ covering or ashamed of,” the bad and ugly things, just they know we all had a past. So they know that there is absolutely no sin God can not forgive and there is nobody God can not save.
I also found myself sharing my story with some guys, how I used to wash people’s clothes and clean people’s gutters for money. Just so they know that there’s no “condition/situation” God cannot turn around and that God has such great plans for all of us.
A moment ago, they wanted pictures and videos with me, they were restless and seemed to be in a hurry but after I shared all that I did, they asked to lead them in prayers to surrender their lives to Christ.
I know it is not just the story, it was God pulling them to Himself and it made me grateful to Him again for my journey and for giving me a story.
Your story, no matter how bad or ugly is a weapon in the hands of God if you let Him use it.
