Jully Black Instagram – I AM my ancestors’ wildest dreams.
And today, I feel them all cheering.
My Mommy came to Canada in 1968, married Dad in 1974, and divorced in 1984. From that moment on, I watched her rise—over and over again. She used every ounce of faith and wisdom she had to pour into me. Her motto? “Belief kill and belief cure.” And she lived it.
She kept me in every activity I was curious about—not just to keep me busy, but to keep me safe. To keep me whole. She made sure the streets didn’t scoop me up. Mission accomplished, Mommy.
Now here I am… riding in the passenger seat of my soon-to-be husband’s car, catching my breath as I see THIS post.
Honoured by the Mayor. Recognized by my city. Crown on. Eyes filled.
I’m fully sold out to my R.A.S. (Reticular Activating System—go ahead, Google it). I’ve been visualizing, praying, preparing… and for the past two weeks, every single day, life-shifting, soul-lifting news has arrived.
This moment is another divine confirmation.

I’ll wear my crown with pride and keep it shined up—for me, for Mommy, and for every ancestor who paved the way.
