I AM my ancestors’ wildest dreams. And today, I feel them all cheering. My Mommy came to Canada in 1968, married Dad in 1974, and divorced in 1984. From that moment on, I watched her rise—over and over again. She used every ounce of faith and wisdom she had to pour into me. Her motto? “Belief kill and belief cure.” And she lived it.
