Kelsey Owens Instagram – Bailey update:
Ya’ll know my dogs are my world and the past 72 hours have been a scare. Tuesday night Max and I flew to Georgia for a little vacation. We’d barely settled in before getting a call that Bailey was extremely sick. Our sitter rushed her to the vet, and they found what looked like a foreign body that needed emergency surgery. We hopped in a rental and drove nine hours straight to the emergency vet while she was being prepped, but thankfully an ultrasound showed whatever it was had passed. (We unfortunately don’t know what the object was.) It did however cause a lot of damage to her esophagus and intestines. We finally have her home now and she’s starting to slowly get a little of her spunk back. We’ve been glued to her side, giving her lots of snuggles, surprising her with her first stuffy, and celebrating every wiggle butt like it’s a miracle. We’re beyond thankful our favorite bundle of chaos is okay… and I think it’s safe to say Bella’s just as happy to have her sister back🐾 It was so scary to have something happen to our dog while we were out of town. We can’t thank our dog sitter, the technicians, and vets enough for saving our baby. Hug your pups a little tighter tonight, I know I will.♥️ | Posted on 08/Nov/2025 04:13:43
