Clearly, I need a pedi. This Thanksgiving I’m choosing to focus on not what I think I need but what I already have. The things I’ve worked so hard for (since I was 7), and the gifts I’ve received in this life- my family, great friendships, and the most delicious ones: my partner and my son. It’s been a painful journey, but I’m learning to be still and receive the love that is sent my way. I’m thankful the universe has been patient with me while I fought off or ignored these acts of love. I’m ready to “eat what’s on my plate.”

Thanksgiving Eve Party time
Can we talk about this film for a min? For me, watching it in the theatre was a spiritual experience. Coogler is King. As a former breakdancer… THAT SCENE (you know what I mean) was transcendent. Everything about it is a masterpiece. What say you?
