The design details:
Leftover beams from the Meadow give the place those old scrap wood Outer Banks vibes with a little bit o’ those old English Lost Colony Roots. The original houses around here were made from leftover scrap wood from barns, shipwrecks etc. Still working on things like installing countertops and lighting.
Stucco walls, planked board ceilings, painted old floorboards mixed with brick and some existing furnishings (the ikea table came with the house & we had most everything in our barn!) and a couple of new pieces (the Meadow sofa from my collection with @taylorkingfurniture an antique Swedish 1872-painted chest) have made this place into a relaxed, cozy, and flop-able beach pad.
