If you don’t carry peace within,
the city feels chaotic.
Crowds, noise, pollution, contradictions everywhere.
Kind people and performative sages side by side.
I came straight from the Himalayas.
where it was silent, and peace felt effortless.
When I reached Kashi and entered its lanes,
everything felt overwhelming.
That’s when I realised,
the peace I felt didn’t belong to me.
It belonged to the Himalayas.
Here, I needed my own grounding.
Once I settled within,
the city revealed itself,
