Not many people truly know what a meditation center in Myanmar is like—or what Buddhists genuinely seek. It’s not a luxury retreat. It’s a monastic space built for deep inner work—where mindfulness isn’t just something you practice during meditation, it becomes a way of life. We wake up at 3 AM, and even the walk to the meditation hall is done in silence, step by step with full awareness. The meditation hall is air-conditioned, but where we sleep is not—just a simple room with minimal bedding. No make up, no entertainment, no distractions.Life here is humble and basic, on purpose. We meditate in 1-hour silent sessions, without moving. It teaches us to sit with discomfort, to not react to every sensation, thought, or sound. The practice is about building stillness, patience, and clarity. Everyday we have about 7 sessions. Meals are donated by people , and we eat only between 5 AM and 12 PM—no food after noon. You don’t choose what you eat; you receive what’s offered. ✨ On one of the days I was there, it was my birthday, and I offered lunch to the community as a form of merit. ✨ It felt so meaningful to give, quietly, as part of the practice. No celebration, no cake—just generosity and gratitude. This is my first time at this center, but I’ve done meditation like this before. And every time, the first two days are the hardest. I feel like giving up. But by day three, something always shifts. The mind becomes still. Peace sets in. And I begin to see what truly matters. I’m sharing this because many people don’t really know what goes on inside these centers—or what Buddhism teaches beyond rituals and images. It’s not about escaping the world. It’s about facing it—with calm, clarity, and compassion. #MeditationCenter #Myanmar #Mindfulness #BuddhistPractice #Vipassana #Dana #BirthdayMerit #SimpleLiving #SpiritualPath #InnerPeace #Silence

2025 was not gentle. It was a year of confusion, quiet fear, and unanswered questions. A year of walking on eggshells, of facing realities I never asked for. But it was also the year that taught me the most. The year that changed me the deepest. I learned who my people are. I learned how much truth matters. I learned that clarity sometimes comes after breaking. I don’t know exactly where I’m going next — but I know I see more clearly now. Thank you, 2025. For the lessons I didn’t want, but needed. #2025endingsoon🗣️

Every ending is a new beginning. Every experience will make you grow if you don’t let them break you .
