The school holidays should be a time of play, adventure & growth. But for 2.5 million children, free school meals are a lifeline so when term ends that security does too. With school holidays totalling around 90 days a year, that’s a lot of time these children face going hungry. Cash for Kids Day 2025 is supporting grassroots charities, schools & community organisations who provide food & fun activities for disadvantaged children during the holidays. Whether you’re baking, buying an apron or would just like to donate, your kindness will have a big impact on the children who need it most
