BIG GIRL ROOM MAKEOVER 😭 // My 7 year old’s been asking us for a room update for a minute and we used the Thanksgiving break to make it happen finally! Her requests were: • Her favorite colors: black, teal, purple and leopard • A bigger bed: we opted for a full to allow space for cartwheels and a reading nook • A black canopy for a spooky princess bed I worked with the white pieces she had already and some accessories so we didn’t need to swap everything out and I think all of her bold ideas came together brilliantly to create a space that is perfect for her. As you know, I’m not a color girl myself so this was a fun challenge. Stuck with a rule of 3 — 3 pops of a color made it make sense in the room — and a firm belief that leopard is a neutral that goes with absolutely everything! #bedroomdesign #roommakeover #hometransformation

PLAYROOM/OFFICE MAKEOVER 🏠 This transition has been a long time in the making and we are down to the last little bits of really making it feel like our creative space since swapping with our littles. Now that the kid-friendly wallpaper is gone and we’ve started painting things black, it finally feels like us in here.
