Thirteen years ago, the Prime Minister of Australia and my dear friend @juliagillard stood up and set the world on fire. Her words struck a chord with women everywhere because they gave voice to something so many of us have lived. It was electrifying in the House that day. Listening back, it still makes me smile.

Today, I saw three services in action – @womens.girls.emergency.centre helping women and children escape violence and get the care they need, @bankstownwomenshealthcentre helping women and their families go from strength to strength and @vinniesaus who provide wrap-around services and help people move from crisis to stability.
