Zawe Ashton Instagram – “We all need an outlet to be able to express ourselves – art and theatre is an extraordinary way of doing that”
Big Give #ChristmasChallenge Ambassador, Maxine Peake explains how important it is for women who have experienced criminalisation and mental ill health to have access to the arts.
Clean Break’s theatre workshops encourage women to use their voices and express their feelings in safe, creative ways.
Our trauma-informed approach helps women feel seen and heard, without asking them to talk directly about challenging personal experiences. When women arrive at Clean Break, they get the chance to spotlight and nurture parts of themselves that might have been neglected, and that they want carry forward as they rebuild their lives.
From now until Tuesday 9 December, all donations to Clean Break are being doubled at no extra cost to you.
By donating to Clean Break, you’ll help us continue to provide transformative creative workshops for women who need them. From all of us at Clean Break, thank you.
