Jamie Lee Instagram – One of life’s greatest weirdest pleasures is coming home after staying out late, proud you didn’t cancel because couch, because dogs, because pajamas, proud you rallied. Remembering pops of different conversations in a crowded room being shouted over the chorus of, like, “Happy” by Pharrell (lol, given the simmering collective grief), waking up raw and hungry and feral, getting coffee, getting back in bed and just sitting on your phone/ass when you should probably mobilize and start doing stuff because it’s Monday. Just a fully warped, delusional, dream-like liminal stretch of time where you’re held together by exhaustion, caffeine and memories of connection before reality reloads.
Okay, wait, real quick before I go (go where? Who knows, probably just to the kitchen): @NikkiGlaser and the writers for the Globes deserve every 👏👏👏. That was just amazing.
