Thank you to our couples for being so open, honest and vulnerable in the lead-up to your weddings. And then letting us come to your actual friggin’ wedding and dance like glorious jackasses.
Making this show was the wildest, hardest, most fun, most emotional, most rewarding experience of my life. Started with a little brainstorm room (@sierrakatow & @divadelux) and then a little crew on the road, driving and flying all over the country, to help couples and then eventually attend their weddings. @nillyny & #JenMorton and @juliaehirt and our whole crew and production team worked around the clock to make the whole thing come together. I’ve never seen people work harder/smarter. @danblackattack was our comedy producer, writing jokes and segment ideas like a beast… @makeupbylez woke up early to paint my face every day. @anna_schilling styled me for every single scene we shot… my assistant/superhero @shanrath was taking care of our dogs and helping in a million different ways from afar. Takes a damn village, ya’ll.
