Training really heavy is great at times, but I wouldn’t recommend going 100% with few reps every time since it’s very hard on the joints🤨
A variety of “heavy exercises / few repetitions” with “not-so-heavy exercises / many reps” is definitely the best way to go🥳
Regarding this routine, keep the reps around 8, and 4 to 5 sets per exercise.
Remember to warm up before… actually I would recommend you to do a warm-up set or two, before every exercise so you somewhat advise your body of what’s coming👍🏻
My workout plans on the app Fitplan contains the perfect variation, and you can make notes in the app what weights you used so you can use the same, or heavier, next time you work out. That’s one thing that makes it very useful no matter if you are a beginner or pro athlete.
