Sarah Lian Instagram – This year did not turn out the way I thought it would.
I carried expectations that were never met, rode emotional roller coasters, and put on a brave face while avoiding the inevitable — the departure of one self to make space for another to arrive.
In unpacking my stories, I found lessons that surprised me. Behind the brave face were truths I never saw coming. Perseverance meant allowing space for a new self to emerge, rooted in who I truly am. Rooted in purpose, and letting my soul come home to the places that simply feel right.
